Welcome, I’m Rachel! I’ve expanded my personal passion into creating art for others; I strongly believe that art has healing properties, and I love being able to share my gift with people—I create mostly for myself, but have had a lot of commissions for weddings, businesses and personal desires. Nothing says “I care about you” like a one-of-kind, original art piece created for that special someone in your life.
I am a thirty-something-year-old artist from Bucks County, Pennsylvania. I relocated to Florida in the summer of 2016 to advance my career, but have returned to the Northeast as of January 2019. My art experience started at the age of five, and I have continued to practice throughout the years. I started out taking classes with a local teacher, continued through High School, but since about the age of fifteen, I began to experiment on my own. I still make time to get my hands dirty in my favorite art mediums; some of my favorites include charcoal, marker, mixed media techniques, and acrylic/ink painting.
I received my BA from The University of Rhode Island in May 2013, and then went on to graduate from Arcadia University in May 2015, where I received my Masters Degree in International Public Relations. In addition to learning, I have a deep rooted passion for animals, and giving back to the community; I actively volunteer with my Synagogue and Alma Mater. I have my own rescue dog, Lucy, a sassy American Staffordshire Terrier. I especially enjoy traveling, writing, spending time with loved ones, hiking, photography, and music.
*I am a Bob Ross Certified Instructor & Artist in the Landscape technique (as of Sep. 2016). See Bob Ross Styled Artwork here! Contact me if you’d like me to personally teach a class to you or a group of (3-12) people (opportunity determined by location).
